Job Description

Finance Controller / Retail Manufacturing / £45,000 - £50,000 / Central ManchesterI am currently working with a renowned retail client based in Central Manchester who are looking to bring on a Financial Controller / Finance Business Partner to look after one of their core manufacturing sites / areas.Day to Day;

  • Full ownership of the P&L - management of the results and forecast assumptions.
  • Monitor and challenge factory performance, ensuring targets are met and variances are understood.
  • Manage stock effectively, working with key stakeholders
  • Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the CFO .
  • Assist the key budgets & controls on Manufacturing and Opex cost centres.
  • Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systemswhile acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
  • Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
  • Line management of 1 graduate.
  • Ad-hoc duties may be required from time to time.
Role Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
  • Analytical skills - ability to effectively summarise and interpret data to wide range of stakeholders (SQL Desirable)
  • Ambitious and keen to add instant value across reporting
  • Proven record of delivering against targets
  • Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management with the ability to influence
  • Team work to achieve division strategy and goals
  • Ideally you will have experience working in a retail business
