Financial Controller - Highly Regarded Hotel OperatorLocation: ManchesterSalary: Up to £50,000 + Fantastic BenefitsOur client, a highly regarded large hotel operator, are looking for an experienced and commercially astute Financial Controller with a strong hotel background for one of their high volume sites based in the Manchester area.They are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join their management team to look after the day to day operational running of the finance department and with their wealth of experience give strategic guidance to the General Manager of the property.We are looking for someone who is who has the patience and interest in training a small team to develop their financial skills as well as working closely with the General Manager to get them where they need to be. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong ambitious Financial Controller or Management Accountant with a strong background in hotels to really make their mark working for a well-known and strong reputable operator.The company are constantly refurbishing and uplifting their current offering whilst growing and developing new sites in exciting locations.The role itself will involve preparing management accounts, overseeing stock, wages, expenses and working as a consultant to the property, acting in an advisory capacity to the General Manager, working with them to get them where they need to be, settingtargets and also reporting back.
