Job Description

This position requires a diligent Financial Cashier Manager to steer the accounting and finance department of a not-for-profit organisation in Manchester. The ideal candidate would possess a unique blend of leadership prowess, financial acumen and a strongfoundation in cashier management.Client DetailsOur client is a well established educational institution operating in the not-for-profit sector. With an excellent, dedicated workforce, they are committed to delivering exceptional educational services to a large student body in Manchester.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of a Financial Cashier Manager will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Supervise and manage a finance team
  • Ensure accurate financial transactions and record keeping
  • Oversee operational cash management activities
  • Implement and strategic matters and to create new processes
  • Coordinate timely preparation of financial reports
  • Maintain and update all Cash Operations procedures and policies
  • Support in income, forecasting and providing accruals where relevant
  • Maintain and manage relationships with Bankers and the Treasury team
  • Oversee cash flow management and bank reconciliations
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
  • Train and mentor team members to boost performance and productivity
ProfileA successful Financial Cashier Manager should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Cashier Manager or a similar role in the Accounting & Finance industry
  • Strong understanding of cashier management systems and procedures
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Good understanding of financial legislation
  • Not for Profit and Charities background - Education desirable
  • Ability to commute to Manchester
