We are seeking a bright, adaptable and keen Paralegal or Assistant Paralegal to join our growing team in Manchester, in the corporate and leveraged finance team that sits within the finance group at CMS. About the Role The team does a wide range of work, from large corporate syndicated loans to TMT finance, to private equity and leveraged finance transactions to new innovative structured finance solutions for our clients. Our client base is similarly broad and includesbanks, corporates, technology companies, sponsors and institutional lenders. The paralegal will work on these transactions alongside a team of qualified lawyers. About You Experience of working within a Banking legal environment is preferred. You will have a keen eye for detail with the ability to use your initiative whilst working on multiple tasks. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills and theability to prioritise conflicting deadlines. You must be an enthusiastic individual with a strong academic background. Exceptional communication skills are also necessary, as is the ability to work well in a team.A degree in law or equivalent qualification is preferred, but not essential.
