Job Description

A broad Finance Manager role, having exposure to all areas of finance.Reporting into the Financial Controller.Client DetailsThis client is a well-established media organisation that is on a strategic pathway of growth, based in Manchester.Description

  • Leading on delivery of monthly management accounts with full balance sheet and cash flow analysis to reporting deadlines. Including analysis of key variances and working capital movements.
  • Lead on annual budget process, working closely with business unit leads.
  • Group tax management and compliance around VAT, CT, payroll taxes etc.
  • Quarterly VAT submissions for all businesses in the Group, with support from team.
  • Commercial analysis to support strategic decision making.
  • Production of Board information to support strategic analysis.
  • Implementation of effective financial controls and best practice.
  • Supervision of transactional teams to achieve processing KPIs
  • Attend Management team meetings to review financial and operational performance.
  • Support and development of junior finance staff, including on-the-job training for work tasks and mentoring.
  • Additional project work to support expansion plans and identify process efficiency.
  • Adhoc tasks as required by senior finance and operational teams.
Profile
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or eq qualified.
