Job Description

Finance Business Partner (Senior Finance Business Partner) | 6 months + | Remote Working | Local GovernmentCastlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable Local Authority to recruit a Finance Business Partner (Senior Finance Business Partner) on an initial 6 month interim basis (strong possibility for extension). This is an excellentopportunity to join an organisation going through a period of progressive change, and will be working remotely.

  • The role will be responsible for playing a leading role in a customer-focussed, value adding business partnering team
  • Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across the Education service, at a strategic level
  • Demonstrateunderstanding of a specialist area of expertiseto these senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Supporting the development of effective financial strategies to ensure statutory financial duties are met and the Council is able to deliver its strategic priorities
The person;
  • CCAB/CIMA qualified, or equivalent with a proven business partnering approach
  • Experience within Local Government Finance, preferably partnering with Education services
