Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will support the division to provide analysis and insight to assist the business in making value added decisions. The role includes systems data input and data extraction from multiple ledgers, consolidating variousfinancial reports, providing analytical support and cost control.Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

  • Financial management and reporting
  • Support the Finance Manager in preparing as hoc and regular reports required for consolidated monthly management accounts by senior management
  • Production and analysis of overhead costs
  • Analysis of actual results against forecast and budget
  • Preparation of working files for month end reporting along with key KPI data and supporting analysis
  • Work with Finance Shared Service team to ensure accurate cost coding and cost allocation across business units
  • Assist the business units and Finance Manager in making informed decisions by championing fact-based analysis to support financial and commercial proposals
  • Cash management and forecasting
  • Assist in the production of weekly cash flow forecasts including commentary and analysis
  • Monitor and report against the cash forecast KPIs
  • Manage, track and reconcile weekly upstream and downstream payments
Skills and experience:
  • Management accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - liaising with all levels throughout the business
  • Good knowledge of Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, formulae-writing, graphs, charts and tables, formatting)
  • Ability to adapt to new systems
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, conscientious, well organised and with great attention to detail.
