Field Based Sales RepresentativeCovering M62 corridor (north of Stoke on Trent) Founded in 1875, the Nicholls and Clarke Group have grown to become the UKs largest national manufacturer and distributor of ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tiles, Nicobond tile adhesives, grouting and floor levelling compounds, fine quality sanitarywareBeing field based, you will not be situated in an office, although you will have a main distribution centre that will support you and help you grow your sales.The Opportunity - Regional / Field Sales Representative:This excellent opportunity is ideal for an outgoing, engaging and friendly Sales professional, with previous experience working field based, visiting client sites on a daily basis. With this, you must be prepared to travel daily and hold a valid UK drivinglicence. You will ideally have experience in the Construction industry, however we are happy to train you to understand the features, benefits and installation of our products. What will you be doing as our Regional / Field Sales Representative
  • Being field based, you will be travelling to visit client offices and sites within north midlands and northern England
  • Selling our extensive range of high-quality interior finishing products
  • Providing clients with samples of products, doing production presentations
  • Ensuring retention, as well as growth, of business
  • Maintaining a sense of enthusiasm and commitment
  • Providing consistent, excellent customer service
What will you sell and to whoYou will be selling our extensive entrend range of N&C ceramic and porcelain tiles, Nicobond adhesives, grouting compounds and screeds, tiling systems and wetrooms.Our customer base includes yet not limited to; Tiling Contractors, House builders, social landlords, main contractors, wetroom installers, local authorities and quality retailers.Who are we looking for
  • Previous experience within a similar field based sales role
  • A superstar go getter, can you close deals
  • Someone with a dynamic self driven can do attitude
  • You must have a full UK driving licence and be happy being field based, on the road on a daily basis
  • Prior experience within the construction industry preferred however not essential
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • Friendly, engaging and approachable
  • Passionate about bringing in new business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and positive approach
  • Good team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate, preferably with CRM knowledge
