Job Description

The Company:

  • This company is one of the leading distributors of capital equipment to the engineering sector.
  • Relationships in place with key customers already.
  • Part of a wider engineering business.
  • Experts in Die Attach, Wire Bonding, Die Bonding in this division.
    • The Role:
  • As an Applications Engineer, you will be supporting the Business Development Manager on microelectronics applications support at customer sites as well as servicing equipment.
  • Preparation of literature to aid sales within the business.
  • Provide customer training on applications.
  • This will be a home based role - roughly 2 days at home and 3 in the field.
  • Working with customers in the Midlands and North.
  • £30k-£35k, £5k car allowance, Mileage paid at the Government Rates, excellent pension scheme, laptop, mobile and Bupa.
    • The Ideal Person:
  • The ideal candidate will have come from an electronics background.
  • HNC level engineering qualification.
  • Happy to travel and stay away from home.
  • Previous experience of working with microelectronics - probably as a technician.
  • Living North of Birmingham.
