Fibre Engineer / Surveyor Location: Northwest of England Start date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum DOE Allied Resource are currently on the lookout for an experienced individual for a Hybrid role covering various Fibre Engineering tasks as well as completing site surveys. Successful candidates will be responsible for completing detailed surveys and Fibre installationsacross the Northwest of England. The company operate all around the Northwest of England to travelling to various sites is required. The company offer fantastic career progression opportunities and a strong benefits package. Responsibilities: - Take an active role by walking the routes, overseeing and quality checking network plans by ensuring they are buildable and cost efficient. - Identify any defects on our network plans, flag and suggest alternative routes. - Survey contractor packs including the pre-planned fibre routes. - Complete As-Builts where necessary. - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, local authorities, and highways agencies effectively and clearly. - Be responsible for the governance of works management in compliance with and codes of practice and guidelines. - Compete various onsite Fibre Engineering tasks. - Forecast Operating Expenses and Capital Expenses for infrastructure projects. Must Have: - Experience in identifying defects and route survey activities. - Strong knowledge of Fibre Installations. - Excellent ability to solve problems in a timely manner. - Strong diversionary work experience, as well as codes of practice in this field. - Demonstrate ability to produce detailed industry-leading level of survey, installation, and as-built documents.
