Job Description

Job IntroductionResponsibility for the day to day support and provision of facilities management across the UK property portfolio. This is a high profile role, which requires communication to be effective with all levels of management. The Facilities Assistant must be flexiblein their approach and be willing to adapt to meet the ever changing needs of the business Main Responsibilities

  • The Facilities Assistant, will support the facilities function across the UK as a member of the Facilities team they will be responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the team in:
    • Facilities management at all our premises;
    • Liaise with FM Business lead and support in managing key relationships, including:-
      • the landlord (and their staff / agents);
      • site maintenance contractors;
      • external consultants;
      • cleaning/hygiene contractors and any other service providers to our buildings
  • Support in the day to day management of the delivery of services
  • Co-ordinate with supporting effective lease management for the UK portfolio maintaining systems and databases.
  • Support in managing key suppliers and reviewing of invoices relating to facilities with escalation and recommendations to the Head of branch operations for approval as appropriate.
  • Support the management of CAFM and planned and preventative maintenance across the portfolio.
  • Support and co-ordinate monitoring statutory building compliance across the UK portfolio.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of BCP/DR procedures and scenario planning.
  • Support the Leadership team as required
  • Ensure systems/processes are maintained to the required levels for building security, fire protection and health & safety.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good level of customer service experience
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience working within a corporate office environment
  • Ideally exposure / experience to facilities
