Facilities Assistant* Manchester City Centre (excellent links to public transport)* Permanent & Full Time (37.5 hours per week)* Salary paying up to £26k plus highly competitive benefits package including life insurance, private healthcare, 10% employer pension, 30 days holidays plus bank holidays to name a few * Predominantly based on site due to the nature of the roleMedlock Partners are partnering with a highly ambitious, Manchester City Centre based, Professional Services business looking for a Facilities Assistant to support their continued growth.The business is looking for a confident individual with the right attitude and drive, keen to succeed in an office-based Facilities Assistant role. As part of the front of house team, you will be the face of our company, greeting visitors in a friendly and warm manner and supporting your colleagues across theoffice.Key responsibilities of the Facilities Assistant:Office Maintenance:* Keep our office space clean, organised, and fully operational.* Identify and report maintenance and repair needs promptly.* Coordinate external service providers for maintenance and repairs.Office Supplies:* Monitor and replenish office supplies, including stationery, coffee, tea, snacks, and other essentials.* Manage inventory and place supply orders as needed.Meeting and Shared Spaces:* Set up and tidy meeting rooms and shared workspaces before and after use.* Ensure all equipment (e.g., projectors, whiteboards) is in working order.Refreshments:* Prepare and serve refreshments for visitors and meetings.* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.Clear Desk Policy:* Monitor adherence to the clear desk policy to maintain data security.* Remind colleagues to secure their workspace as necessary.Visitor Experience:* Welcome and assist visitors, creating a positive first impression.* Provide information and ensure visitor comfort.* Provide front of house cover for lunch and holidays.Key requirements for the Facilities Assistant:* You will be an approachable, empathetic problem solver, with exemplary communications skills.* You will display an adaptable, "can-do" attitude.* Preferably, prior experience in a similar role.* Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.* The capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.* Basic knowledge of office equipment and facilities maintenance.* A friendly and approachable demeanour.If you are interested in this Facilities Assistant position and you feel that your experience matches the criteria, please apply now for immediate consideration or for more information please contact Kerry Norman.Medlock Partners are a professional services recruitment specialist operating across the Northwest of England.
