Each summer, we upgrade and prepare our locations ready for our residents. As part of the summer team,you will be assisting the on-site team get our vibrant and modern accommodation prepared and in great shape to welcome our students in September. The Role: Maintenance Technician Working Hours: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week Contract Length: 1-2 weeksRate of Pay: £15.78p/hrLocation: Manchester M15Sound good Heres a bit about the job.- Working as part of the dedicated on-site team to make sure the students who stay with us always feel at home- You will be ensuring that the location remains safe and always looking its best, by providing a high standard of repair and maintenance service- Undertake repair and maintenance tasks to a high quality including plumbing; joinery and carpentry; painting/decorating; replacement of lighting lamps/tubes and required statutory testing- Running weekly fire alarm and emergency lighting checks- Logging maintenance requests, H&S hazards and stock requests as requiredBenefits· Annual leave allowance · Weekly pay cycle · Easy online timesheet and payslip system · Pension Scheme · Employee Benefits including Eye Care Vouchers, corporate discounts and more · Employee Assistance Programme· Dedicated inbox to assist you with any questionsWhat are we looking for- People who are dedicated to working safely, and to the highest possible standard at all times- Experience in undertaking repairs and maintenance in a residential environment or experience in any of the following trades: building, plumbing or carpentry- Able to work in a safe and compliant manner- Flexible and able to work shifts between Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays- Always willing to go above and beyond to solve a problemAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
