Job Description

Eames Consulting are working in partnership with a global insurer who are recruiting within their successful & profitable Engineering & Construction division. They are keen to appoint a Construction Underwriter who will be allocated a regional panel of brokersto nurture and develop in line with the strategic business plans for the team.

  • Underwrite & contribute to the growth of an book of Construction, Engineering, Property & Casualty and D&O risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong broker relationships.
  • Underwriting risk across large specialist/complex cases.
  • Upholding underwriting authority
  • Recognising opportunities for development in terms of strategy and profitability.
  • Exceptional technical capability, acting as an integral part of the regional existing business team.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
  • Market knowledge across engineering insurance space, or very strong property & casualty exposure with an interest in this arena.
  • Preferably Cert CII Qualified, or studying towards.
  • Proven track record of developing strong broker relationships
