EventManager wanted for an event agency which is going through expansion, these guys produce all types of events such as Festivals, Music and Corporate Events here in the UK and Internationally.They are now recruiting for an Event Manager to come in and work on launching Corporate events such as Dinners, Product Launches and Brand Activation for the UK market. Initially you will be given a couple of clients to work with, they currentlywork with over 200 clients that you can then call to see if they would be interested in doing further events, as its a launch division the first 6 months to a year will be 50% Operations and 50% sales and then once you have built up your own client portfoliothat will then go to 80% Operations and 20% sales. You will be responsible for the Operations so you will be liaising with their Sound, Set and AV/Lights departments, dealing with the client direct and putting on their events.To be considered for this Event Manager role you must have 2 to 3 years proven events within either another agency or a corporate client, the client will consider people coming from a B2B Conference/events background as long as you knowyou will be initially getting new clients on board. The client would prefer someone who has a driving licence as you will be going off to see clients, either your own car or a car will be given for the meetings only.
