I am currently on the lookout for an Estimator to join a leading home improvement business out of their offices in the Audenshaw area. Paying a salary between GBP20000 - GBP25000, this is a great time to join this growing business as they enter another period of growth. The successful candidate will be supporting the Commercial manager in the delivery of projects i.e. produce quotes and assist in the programming, purchasing and Health & Safety on the project. Whilst this is mainly an office based role, some travelling may be required across Greater Manchester, so candidates must be a driver with their own form of transport. About The Role:Work on both commercial and domestic contracts in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area. Estimating commercial and residential projects for windows, doors and a full range of products from drawings to produce cost estimates and quotations to customers both B2B and B2C. Duties will also include assisting the Commercial Manager with preparing method statements, risk assessments. Receiving any incoming goods to the business Chasing quotations and prices from relevant suppliers Essential Skills & Experience:Applicants MUST have previous estimating experience - min of 2 years ideally Have the ability to solve technical problems, with a good understanding of construction practices and materials Able to demonstrate strong working knowledge on Excel You must be self-motivated, have the ability to solve technical problem Confident and assured telephone manner Candidates must be a driver with their own licence and car Desirable Skills & Experience:Ideally educated to OND / HNC Level in a relevant field Previous experience working within the construction or glazing industry would be advantageous About The Benefits:Salary: GBP20000 - GBP25000 Working Hours: Mon - Thu 8:00 - 16:30 Fri 8:00 - 16:00 Holidays: 20 days holiday + bank holidays Free parking Excellent team environment Company socials and incentives To ApplyIf this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV to apply!
