Job: Estates and Asset Management OfficerSalary: £36,922 - £40,876 paHours: Full timeContract: PermanentLocation: Tootal Buildings, 56 Oxford Road, Manchester, M1 6EUClosing date is 01/10/2021 at 23:59*** To make a full application please visit our website Greater.Jobs***Your role:As an Estates and Asset Management Officer, reporting to GMCA Director of Land and Property, you will provide professional estate and asset management advice relating to the Combined Authoritys operational and non-operational land and property assets, aswell supporting the delivery of the GM objectives to drive the more effective use of the public estate across GM in support of economic growth, housing, employment and reformed public estate to enable service integration, land release and reduced running costs.About you:With a proven track record of delivering quality estate and asset management, preferably for a local authority or similar organisation, you will have experience of and proficiency in managing complex projects and of concluding high level negotiations andable to deliver objectives to strict deadlines and budgets.You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to prioritise a varied workload in a methodical manner.You will have experience of working within in a professional team, with the ability to apply professional knowledge and to support and encourage others.Good experience of developing and delivering appropriate policies and strategies, and a track record of success in supporting a contract and/or professional function.This area of management includes:

  • Estates management
  • Project management and procurement
