Job Description

ESOL Lecturer

  • Greater Manchester
  • £28- £31 per hour
  • Start date: 03/01/2024
Morgan Hunt are currently looking for an ESOL Lecturers on a part time basis to start on 03/01/2024, for the rest of the academic year at an FE college in Greater Manchester, this will start of on 2 days a week, but could progress to 4 days a week if theright candidate wants more hours.
  • Teaching 16-18 year olds
  • Delivering entry 1 and level 1 learners
  • 12 hours a week- Wednesday and Thursday, full days
  • Ongoing contract all the rest of the academic year
Responsibilities of a ESOL Lecturer:
  • Working in the ESOL Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the Colleges standards of work
  • Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
  • Delivering ESOL across all levels in an FE College
Requirements of a ESOL Lecturer:
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
  • Experience of delivering the subject.
  • A ESOL related Degree is desirable
  • A current DBS or one on the update service
