The successful candidate will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders from across all parts of MAG, to track and maintain progress against the suite of commitmentsin our CSR Strategy. The ESG Analyst will take the lead and use professional judgement in collating, managing and analysing data to present high-quality performance reports. These reports in turn enable the tracking of progress against the CSR Strategy, facilitatedecision making by leaders, provide transparency to external stakeholders (including policy makers and investors) whilst protecting and enhancing MAGs reputation.Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Work with the ESG Manager and a wide range of internal stakeholders to support the successful and timely implementation of MAGs CSR Strategy
  • Identify and propose interventions which improve the effectiveness of MAGs CSR Strategy, identifying and sharing best practice between a wide range of internal stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Develop, maintain and populate a robust data warehouse which will be used to monitor and report progress implementing MAGs CSR Strategy as well as enable regulatory compliance
  • Review CSR related data to underpin monitoring and reporting of the performance of MAGs CSR Strategy
  • Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to monitor and report progress implementing MAGs CSR Strategy
  • Organise and facilitate successful third-party independent audits to AA100AS:2008 and subsequent or alternative assurance standards, verifying MAGs CSR programmes and performance data
  • Develop and introduce methodologies to demonstrate the value of MAGs CSR programme (including the social value)
  • Enhance MAGs reputation, support its response to developments and enable its influence of policy by preparing high quality, independently verified datasets and narrative to underpin corporate reporting
  • Support the ESG Manager with local, regional and national stakeholder engagement on CSR issues
  • Manage the reporting of greenhouse-gas emissions, ensuring accurate input data is provided, in a timely fashion
  • Support the preparation of high quality ESG rating submissions, including GRESB and Sustainalytics
  • Support the administration of MAGs CSR-related governance programmes, including the CSR Committee of the Board / EXCO Sub-Committee
You:As an ideal candidate for this role, you will have strong analytical abilities to assimilate complex and widely varying technical issues and concepts. Essential to the success of this role is experience in complex data management and analysis, the abilityto develop, maintain and populate a robust data warehouse and present/report to senior leaders in a coherent manner. You will be able to relate this data to corporate responsibility and the strategic direction of a complex organisation with demonstratableexperience working on CSR and sustainability projects within a large organisation. Other skills include:
  • Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft products)
  • Open to continual professional development (CPD) to develop familiarity with contemporary issues
  • Familiarity with the CSR reporting frameworks and ESG benchmarks including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), GRESB and Sustainalytics is preferable
  • Familiarity with airport and wider aviation industry preferable
