Job Description

We do more than just provide a roof over our customers’ heads, we’re here to make a real difference.In addition to creating positive spaces for our customers we continuously strive to create a positive and progressive workspace to enable our colleagues to achieve their full potential.We are looking for Multi-skilled Environmental Services Operatives (5 posts) to join our Operations team in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Lancashire. 1 post based in Brunswick Dock, Liverpool, 2 posts based in The Hub, Hattersley and 2 posts based in Altham, Hyndburn.You will operate as part of a multi-disciplinary mobile team delivering a range of excellent environmental services including grounds maintenance, caretaking and cleaning duties to Onward neighbourhoods across our geography.You will be visible in Onward neighbourhoods: ensuring the tidy appearance of neighbourhoods, undertaking scheme maintenance duties, offering assurance to customers, promoting safe environments, supporting community activities and events and embedding and maintaining excellent working relationships with residents.To be successful, it is essential to have knowledge of health and safety responsibilities, whilst having the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and external organisations. You will have experience of excelling in a customer facing role and at team work.You will ideally hold recognised qualifications in Grounds maintenance equipment and a full UK driving licence.All posts are recruited to the recruitment salary and movement to the confirmed salary is based on successful completion of a 6 month probation.
