The successful candidate will have various prerequisiteskills and qualifications that typically include:

• Ability to scrutinise domains of the enterprise’s structure to improve operations and align the business and technology to be transparent.
• Ability to analyse data and information generated by the organisation’s consulting activities and to identify cost-saving opportunities wherever possible to optimise margin.
• Skills in developing standards and policies that guide the use of IT assets.
• Excellent communication skills for educating employees on best practices for applying the company’s IT products, resources, and solutions.
• Expert knowledge in computer science, data architecture and IT to research solutions and identify ways to enhance existing operations.
• Expertise in cloud computing and data architecture for Amey and client product development
• Efficiency in time management, project management and demonstrative of the company’s service-oriented architecture (SOA)

What Makes This Role UniqueAs part of the Information Services and Platforms team we’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our collaborative and high performing group of professionals. Curious Take a look at some of our Software Engineers and Solution Architects!Our Enterprise Architect (EA) will play a pivotal role in aligning the technology of our business with the Amey Digital Consulting strategy, applying technical and commercial focus on the Analytics and Advisory (A&A) Business Division and more specificallyour Information, Services and Platforms (IS&P) Business. This role will be highly visible and client facing with a significant level of technical and commercial responsibility, staying aware of latest trends and market direction in technology. Our EA willbe responsible for delivering the overall performance of our technical architects, their individual technical excellence, performance criteria in terms of adherence to industry standards and commercial deadlines. Operating as an IT visionary within Amey DigitalConsulting, the EA will provide specific expertise, whilst providing high-level oversight and guidance to the IS&P business. This role reports into the IS&P Offering Director with a wider reach across our other divisions and Technology Directors in a matrix-basedsystem of cross collaboration. It is expected that the EA will travel to other company sites for implementation and synchronisation of technology in the company’s IT system and client sites as the role is client facing in a Business Development environment.We want to hear from you if you have:This role within Amey Digital Consulting requires at least ten years of experience in IT, information security and data architecture in a related field. Amey’s portfolio is wide and varied, therefore, we welcome experience and market knowledge from our traditionalindustries and beyond. Specialised certifications such as the Systems Engineering Professional, Information Security Auditor or Information Security Professional with Cyber essentials are also beneficial.For this high-profile role, Amey is seeking an Enterprise Architect with a science Master’s degree (MSc) in IT, application or network architecture, computer science or data architecture. We will, of course, consider candidates with a postgraduate diplomaor postgraduate certificate with related working experience in their chosen field. The following additional certifications would be considered as desirable:

• Certified Enterprise Architect Professional (CEAP)
• The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF®)
• The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• International Board of IT Governance Qualifications (BITGQ)
• British Computer Society (BCS)
• Zachman Framework, Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) or Gartner
• PhDs and MBAs would also be beneficial but not essential.
