Job Description

    • THE ENGINEERING SHIFT MANAGER ROLE:You be responsible for the effective and efficient maintenance and operation of plant, machinery and services and the proficient management of engineering staff on shift, to enable the production unit to operate within budget and to production targets and product quality standards. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Liaising Planning, Production and Quality departments during line handovers
  • Developing change over procedures, tooling and department skills to maximize the effectiveness of change overs
  • Ensuring product is bottled to the highest possible quality standards and complies with all Customs & Excise trading standards requirements and meets the needs of the customers specifications and time requirements.
    • THE IDEAL CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will need to come from a strong Engineering background within the food & drink industry - ideally from a high-speed bottling or canning environment. On top of this you will also have:
  • Effective Communication
  • Practical Interpersonal Skills
  • Computer Knowledge to include the use of SAP is desirable
  • People Management Skills
  • Food/Drink Packaging experience.
