Job Description

Title: Energy Consultant - Buildings Location: UK based (Remote) Salary: Depending on Experience My client who is a UK leading sustainability consultancy are currently on the lookout for an Energy Consultant the join to the team. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skill set and contribute to the ever-evolving field of sustainability.Skills and Experience:

  • Have a degree in relevant subject with reference to building services or post graduate qualification.
  • Experience using Design Builder or IES
  • Have accreditations in any of the following (DEC, EPC or TM44)
  • Be comfortable on the roads as this role does involve some travel within the UK.
In this role you will be tackling the challenges of climate change and will be actively contributing to the Net Zero Carbon Initiatives taking place in the UK. You will be also working on a wide range of projects and technical areas, these will include:
  • Energy Assessments
  • Net Zero Carbon Strategies
  • Compliance
  • Energy Modelling
Requirements:
  • Be comfortable on the roads as this role does involve some travel within the UK.
  • Have a good understanding of building services, building physics, and building fabrics
  • Knowledge of Net Zero Carbon strategies
  • Strong compliance skill set
  • Strong research capabilities and a desire for continuous growth
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge with Energy Assessments
  • Full clean UK Driving licence
