Job Description

Energy Consultant - North West UK Ref: DB1006Competitive Salary + Benefits Our client is looking for an Energy Consultant to join their well-established, multi-disciplined energy consultancy in the North West. The firm specialise in the residential sector for new and existing buildings.In order to be considered for this Energy Consultant role you will have;

  • Sustainability or Engineering degree or similar
  • Understanding of power generation and heat transfer and their implementation
  • Experience in using Excel (Macros desirable), CAD drawings and 3D models (Autodesk/Revit)
  • Full clean driving license
  • Excellent project management skills and client relationships
  • Experience with carbon emissions in buildings
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
Desirable candidate will have:
  • Experience in energy efficiency and calculations
  • Involvement in heating systems and renewable power generation
Working as an Energy Consultant you will;
  • Undertake SAP calculations, energy use and new build heat loss
  • Review CAD drawings and 3D models
  • Gather building data from site surveys and report on site progress
  • Measuring buildings for low carbon (Heat Pumps, EV Charging Stations, Solar PV, etc.)
  • Basic energy calculations and drawing measurements
  • Managing client and architect relationships
  • Liaising with external specialist energy assessors (SBEM, PHPP, Air Pressure, Thermal Imaging, Damp Specialists, Borehole Inspections)
