A South Manchester embedded systems business who specialise in advanced wireless communication network systems is looking for experienced Engineers who have hands on embedded programming skills but can also be technical lead / architect for small project teams of 3-4 embedded software engineers.The business can offer exciting greenfield work which is at the very early stages of development.You will be working on complex embedded systems which provide wireless network communication to a whole range of industry sectors. Some sectors you will be developing networks for are undeveloped, which makes this work particularly exciting, as you will be changing how the industry communicates going forwards.You will have opportunity to take ownership of a subsystem (which is part of a much larger system) and work on it from concept to delivery. This will mean taking requirements, developing the architecture and then producing the detailed designs.There are requirements to develop systems on Linux, RTOS and Bare Metal. Experience working on as many of these operating systems as possible is desirable. Experience coding in Embedded C or C++ is desired.As well as the above you should have experience working on embedded systems which have networking or wireless communication protocols (e.g. 2G, 3G, 4G, TCP IP, RRH, BTS, IoT, M2M). It doesnt matter what industry sector you have developed embedded solutions for, as this role will allow to you work on systems for a diverse range of sectors.If you are wanting to work on full life cycle developments using the most modern and cutting-edge wireless networking technology, then this role will excite you.SKILLS REQUIRED:
