Job Description

Role Purpose The Customer Retention team play an important and strategic role within the business by using campaign delivery tools to build, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns. In this role you will use these tools and take responsibility for the creation and delivery of successful multi-channel marketing activity to increase customer engagement and support delivery of customer retention targets.Key tasks, responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Using campaign delivery software you will have responsibility for the build, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns from a pre-determined brief.
  • o Use insights from previous campaign evaluation to identify and select the most responsive audience to send the campaigns to.o Deliver personalised content relevant to the selected audience to optimise campaign performance and maximise engagement rates.o Continually refine and carry out AB tests to optimise future campaigns.
  • Extracting key findings through post campaign evaluations and share this information with the wider marketing team .
  • Build appropriate customer contact plans for specific customer segments in the database
  • o Plan and develop appropriate frequency and relevant communicationso Test and evaluate alternative channels within a program to expand reach and performanceo Test and evaluate impact of incentives to re-activate key segments of the databaseo Provide insight on performance and optimise based on results
  • Be accountable for the performance of emails sent against pre-agreed commercial target
  • Provide insight, identifying trends and opportunities within the customer database .
  • Supporting the customer retention team and the wider business with any ad-hoc requests
  • Assisting in maintaining the integrity of data held within the CRM Platform, ensuring that the business is GDPR compliant which will include:
  • o The continuous validation of data extracted.o Identification of any inaccuracies.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the business.
  • Skills and experience required
  • Previous experience with analytical tools/campaign management tools/CRM Systems ie Alterian/Faststats/Salesforce. and ESP’s ie Adestra
  • Familiarity with email channel performance metrics
  • Competent in data manipulating and presenting using tools such as MS Access/Excel/Powerpoint.
  • Previous experience in building emails and selecting customers for campaigns.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop would be desirable.
  • Previous experience of working with and mapping out of customer journeys would be desirable.
  • The ability to prioritise and multi-task and work to deadlines is essential.
