We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible service engineer to join the team responsible for the maintenanceand repair of our proton radiotherapy and research assets. The successful candidate will act as lead engineer for our proton research team providing technical support for all aspects of the research activities.Main duties of the jobDuties will involve quality control measurements, fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance of complex proton radiotherapy and research equipment including peripherals. The engineering team cover three shifts one of which works through the night.You should have experience in electro-mechanical engineering maintenance of complex systems, such as semiconductor manufacturing, the Armed Forces, radar systems or similar equipment. The successful candidate will have knowledge of electronic / electrical engineeringto a minimum of HNC level, and have a good mechanical aptitude.
