Were now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.Graduate / Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer (with design experience)Location: ManchesterCapita Real Estate and Infrastructure has a vacancy for a Graduate/Intermediate Building services electrical design engineer with design experience looking to progress their career within a dynamic and developing sector of Capita. You will ideally hold a relevant degree in engineering and be experienced in electrical design although we will consider individuals looking to move across to a design focused role.What youll be doing:You will be working within the M&E team, as an Electrical Engineering Technician you will be required to produce and assist in producing detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, site surveys, schedules and other related materials. Using electrical engineering tools, such as computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment (Amtech, Diallux/Relux). Keeping senior staff apprised of important and relevant service/design decisions; ensuring that the companys objectives are achieved. Carrying out service and project-related work within agreed-upon deadlines and according to the budget.Our project work covers Utilitys services (including sub-stations and water treatment works) and all types of building developments and establishments from new build to partial and complete refurbishments including Commercial, Retail, Universities, Residential, Industrial and Rail Stations.What were looking for:

  • Relevant Degree in Engineering
  • Electrical services design experience
  • Project management experience
  • MV/ LV main distribution experience
  • Lighting (general and emergency) experience
