What happens when the daily routine becomes a bit too routine Do you want to put the spark back into your electrical design work, whilst making sure you still have a life outside the office A great career opportunity is available for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading business designing a comprehensive range of large world-class technically-complex automated systems for the Aerospace and Defence industries.You would be working on specialist hardware for a diverse range of requirements for a worldwide customer base including many of the worlds leading airlines and defence organisations. The variation in technical challenges will allow you to both broaden your technical expertise and maintain that enjoyment of solving new problems and challenges which keeps work always feeling fresh.You already have experience with electrical CAD such as AutoCAD or EPLAN but this role will allow you to develop your skills in the Solidworks Electrical. If youd enjoy a software which can automate such items as terminal block diagrams and Bills of Material then you will be in for a treat.You would get to interact directly with customers to assess their requirements, create the electrical designs and liaise directly with internal production to bring your designs to life. You will be able to manage your own time in this role, and with just a 36 hour working week you will have more spare time than ever outside of work to do the other activities you love.You will be working in North-East Manchester alongside engineers with a good team ethic and a great rapport between the engineering and production teams. You will enjoy the chance to be quite self-managed and do interesting work for an established global business.
