You will liaise with clients, manage client and design team relationships and attend site surveys and project meetings.Produce detailed designs, drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, DIALux, AmTech and Revit software whilst meeting all existing, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards, including energy efficiency and low carbon requirements.We are nice people - who look to make a difference. Projects include new build, refurbishment and retrofit with a range of values from small projects for key clients to £100m+ major projects. You should be capable of working with a teamof engineers on large projects, managing the delivery of multiple smaller projects whilst simultaneously managing clients.An ideal candidate will. Be BEng or MEng degree qualified Have several years post-graduate experience Member of associated Professional bodies Have exceptional skills associated with electrical building services design and an awareness of all technical requirements, legislation and best practice Have sound commercial knowledge and experience in monitoring financial spending on projects against project targets. Have good project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects of varying size/complexity. Demonstrate enthusiasm in all aspects of the role and have a positive can-do attitude. Demonstrate confidence both to the client and internally to project an appropriate image and support peers and colleagues. Be flexible in approach to suit changing project/market forces.
