Job Description

Education Recruitment ConsultantSalary range£33,000 - £45,000 - (plus commission structure)Due to rapid expansion, Empowering Learning are looking to recruit a Senior Education Recruitment Consultant to join their successful team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful, hard-working, and effective recruitmentteam. If you are an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant who has specialised in either Primary, Secondary or SEND education then we would like to speak with you about what we are able to offer to you. Any and all communication will be dealt with ona confidential and professional basis.Main roles and responsibilities

  • Form and maintain positive and professional relationships with Schools, Teachers, Teaching Assistants and non-teaching professionals
  • Providing excellent customer service to schools and candidates
  • Interviewing and assessing prospective applicants and matching them with vacancies at client schools
  • Screening candidates and drawing up shortlists of candidates for clients to interview
  • Organising interviews and recruitment events
  • Writing and posting job advertisements for vacancies
  • Helping applicants to prepare for interviews
  • Promoting the positive culture and ethos of the company
  • Arrange and attend regular visits to school settings, involvement in extra-curricular events and training
  • Use a range of marketing techniques to build and maintain relationships with schools and candidates
  • Take and make applicant calls and assess their suitability for interview.
  • Attend university fairs within the UK and Overseas.
  • Interview suitable applicants; assess their qualifications, references and general suitability.
  • Receive and solicit vacancies from schools.
  • Telephone, email and visit schools to solicit vacancies.
  • To telephone schools and teachers/NTS to monitor satisfaction levels.
  • Provide both professional and personal support to teachers/NTS.
  • Filling vacancies promptly and finding teachers work promptly.
