Job Description

Do you have an interest in the medical, non-profit or the healthcare sector Your next employer is looking for an Administrator to join their team within a medical professional body and charity, whose purpose is to help further educate healthcare professionals.The Administrator will help the societys strategy to support the education programmes offered to the existing 16,000 and prospective members. This is a part time opportunity, offering you 22.5 hours per week with flexible working options in central Manchester. You will be offered a salary of GBP25,000 pro rata (£15,000), with the flexibility to choose when you work your hours and where, dependingon business needs. We are looking for anyone who has experience in within an admin role, and who are based in a commutable distance to Manchester city centre. This position will give you a once in a lifetime experience to join a medical professional body that requires no existing experience within the sector. Providing high quality training, education, and research, your next company provides innovative advancementsacross a range of medical professions. From students entering the field, right through to retired nurses, doctors and specialists who like to keep up to date with the latest news. What you will do as an Education Administrator - Be responsible for processing new membership applications, checking if they meet the requirements and then enrol them onto the desired course and exams. Maintain accurate records for the exam applications, coursebook sales, electronic copying and distribution of exam papers, market liaison, inductions, and distributing exam results and certificates Advise students of course application periods, record applications using template to approve and check registrations, as well as communicating application outcomes, terms and conditions and financial payments relating to the course. Support and review the delivery of Moodle, Articulate other e-learning technologies as well as offline education resources Assist with other administration tasks within the team when necessary. Run the examination process through successful admin and coordination of exam invigilators, markers, online platforms, venues. Liaise with invigilators, markers and students to help manage examination days including student logins, inductions, and managing the marking of papers Maintain spreadsheets which accurately record the results while working with Senior Education Officer on moderation documents for the exam boards and external accreditors. Develop and maintain content for the educational areas on the website, while keeping records up to date regarding guidelines, careers, education signposting. Work with the committee by assisting with meetings administration where required such as sourcing and booking meeting rooms and setting up Teams/Zoom meetings Provide support where required to the committees publications and website content We would LOVE to hear from you if you have Admin experience doing the following - Previous working experience within an administration role is essential Confident using computers, spread sheets, and setting up online meetings via Teams/Zoom etc Excellent written English, attention to detail and organisation Able to commute to Manchester city centre Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs Previous experience in an education, university, training, or admin organisation a bonus but not essential Professional attitude who understands the importance this role has upon the medical community What you will get as joining the team as an Administrator - 22.5 hours per week GBP25,000 salary per year pro rata (GBP15,000) Flexible working options, able to work when and where you like, depending on the current business needs.
