E-Discovery Specialist - NationwideWe are looking to recruit an E-Discovery Specialist to join DWF, an award-winning global legal business.The role can be based from any of our locations across the UK, however you will be working from home for the time being due to COVID restrictions.Main function of jobOperating in the DWF eDiscovery team within Managed Services, our eDiscovery Specialists are individuals with significant subject matter expertise and a wealth of experience within the eDiscovery field.An eDiscovery Specialist will have a background of being hands on throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle and be confident with handling eDiscovery projects varying from small to very large, often simultaneously with tools and platforms such as Nuix, Relativity and Brainspace. Our eDiscovery specialists are typically experienced in post-collection activities from processing through to review.Main Duties- Delivering experience backed eDiscovery consultative support to clients.- eDiscovery project support across multiple live matters of varying complexity, scale and geographic diversity.- Ensuring the successful delivery of eDiscovery technology and consulting services to clients.- Identifying opportunities for the application of diverse legal technology solutions to assist client challenges and improve processes.The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceEssential: - Firm understanding of the EDRM including the applicable processes and inherent risks at each stage- Significant direct client facing support experience within an eDiscovery review/project management capacity- Outstanding client support experience within demanding deadline driven roles- Understanding and applying the foundation of forensic principles- Data collection, processing, analysis, review and disclosure understanding- Experience applying TAR technologies and wider suitable AI- A technically minded individual, demonstrating an understanding of both structured and unstructured data and how to effectively work with it and generate insight and value from it- Effective time management and organisational skills- Ability to author and present client ready report and proposal content- Review support experience, including establishing review strategy and review streams alongside experience of platform extensibility/custom development- A strong foundation of experience with Relativity/Brainspace/Ringtail/Xera etc.- Disclosure experience to stringent standards including SEC/DOJ specificationDesirable: - Certifications: EnCe, Brainspace, RCU, RCA, Nuix, ACEDS, SQL, MCSA/MCSE- Ability to optimise processes through the creation of custom scripting/automation in SQL, .Net, Python, Ruby etc.- Proficiency within transactional database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL- Ability to identify and deliver business and market aligned innovationBenefits package and flexible working:We want you to feel valued and rewarded by your time at DWF.
