Job Description

The Company:

  • A fantastic opportunity for an Ecommerce Trading Assistant to join an established fast fashion on line business. You should be highly motivated, with exceptional talent, have excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
    • Role Summary
  • Reporting to the Ecommerce Trading Manager, you will represent the global business, responsible for admin tasks across the UK / international websites.
  • You will assist the team of traders in online administration tasks including discount code set up, writing terms and conditions and product write ups, creating clothing categories, adding product to categories, site checks, setting up search redirects, visual merchandising and any other tasks outlined by the Ecommerce Trading Manager.
    • Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Support the Ecommerce Manager in the implementation and execution of the trading and promotional strategy.
  • Assist the day to day execution of promotional strategy for ecommerce websites and app including pricing, code set up and terms and conditions.
  • Ensure all relevant areas to the promotion are updated and checked.
  • Complete work within business systems, Shopify and other business apps where you will be fully trained.
  • Enhance the visual merchandising and search experience for the customer.
  • Communicating relevant information to the CEO and Ecommerce Manager
  • Manages time effectively including daily workload to accommodate additional responsibility and achieves deadlines set by Ecommerce Manager.
  • To work closely and effectively with other departments.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the company.
    • Skills Required:
  • Responsible for uploading new products to site
  • Creative product write ups
  • Building and maintaining onsite Categories
  • Monitor and improve active listings with weekly reports on product performance.
  • Assisting with Merchandising of Product listing pages
  • Conduct market research and analyse competitors products, content, and prices.
  • Support the Website Manager with ad hoc on-site projects and web developments
  • Working with wider Marketing team to create new ideas to help drive growth.
  • VM of the site to maximise sales within collections.
    • The Person:
  • Previous experience within eCommerce Trading Assistant Role
  • Fully competent with Microsoft Excel
  • An understanding of online marketing is compulsory
  • Understanding and adaptability to new systems and processes.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised.
  • Good communicator.
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to establish and sustain strong working relationships.
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm, but able to remain calm and focused in a pressurised situation.
  • Shopify experience would be helpful.
