Job Description

Our client are a fast growing ecommerce business.Due to continued growth they are now looking for an Ecommerce Merchandiser to join the team.Responsibilities

  • Helping to plan, co-ordinate and execute the trading plan strategies
  • Strategising to acquire new customers working closely with SEO, PPC and affiliate teams.
  • Creating local content relevant to online stores.
  • Overall look and feel of the website for relevant market.
  • Retaining existing customers and increasing their spend.
  • Working closely with the merchandising team to confirm weekly trading tactics and understand on site performance.
  • Reporting back to manager with relevant reports and analytical tools.
  • Championing our A/B testing tool, Monetate.
  • Supporting the direct marketing function and help in achieving the sales targets set through effective digital and mail order campaigns and promotions.
  • Driving e-commerce sales.
  • Help to devise and manage the digital and offline marketing campaigns whilst constantly analysing performance for ongoing development and improvement.
  • Setting out targets and implement programmes to maintain and grow the database.
  • Assisting with planning of the email calendar/campaigns in-line with the marketing communications activities including brief, creative concept, copywriting and proofing.
  • Co-ordinating website banners including brief, creative concept, copywriting and proofing.
  • Assisting with organising direct marketing campaigns.
  • Working with the marketing and social media teams to review and add relevant content to the sites.
  • Liaise with brand marketing team to maximise ROI to ensure that digital is correctly managed across a diverse range of marketing initiatives.
  • Working closely with an agency in the management of PPC and SEO activity. This also includes budget management of both accounts.
    • Experience
  • Proven online trading experience - minimum 3-4 years.
  • Able to build strong relationships externally & internally.
  • Reporting and analytical skills.
  • Confident with good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Irish market.
  • Motivation and organisation are key, as well as effective time management.
  • Business or marketing degree.
  • Good understanding of Fredhopper, Dotmailer, Magento, Monetate.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
  • Great knowledge of Google Analytics, further training to be provided if needed
