Job Description

Are you a content and eCommerce specialist with an eCommerce background A well-known Beauty brand is looking for a creative copywriter to join their state of the art Scandinavian style offices based in Cheshire. They are overhauling their branding to helpachieve their sales objectives so its an exciting time to be joining as you can help shape this transformation.You will also benefit from a competitive salary, genuine progression and self-development opportunities, a fun and interesting sector and a great culture.As an eCommerce Copywriter, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Create all copy for sales pages, including product pages, category pages and website homepages, adhering to SEO best practices.
  • Produce succinct, accurate and enticing copy in line with their tone of voice, cementing our mission to be the global beauty device experts.
  • Understand target consumers, their needs, priorities and passions, and deliver content which compels them to purchase.
  • Adapt content and copy to the audience and the business requirements in a variety of marketing channels and environments.
  • Conduct thorough brand and technology research to inform copy whilst working independently, delivering copy at pace to strict deadlines.
  • Raise the bar of existing ecommerce content created across the business.
  • Monitor content engagement and create reports to inform and refine the ongoing content plan.
  • Work with the wider marketing and trading teams to ensure all products are strategically merchandised across the websites to maximise sales.
  • Coordinate with international trading managers and Worldwide Content Coordinator for necessary copy translation and international rollout.
  • Liaise daily with the wider Marketing teams on product workflow, brand information and priorities.
  • Conduct daily site walks, with the customer in mind, to maintain quality, accuracy and consistency of content.
  • Respond to ad-hoc copy requests/queries from across the business.
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with the rest of the Marketing team to continuously optimise and improve our copy, always aiming to inform, inspire and educate our customers with compelling and original content.
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
  • 3+ years experience in a sales/ecommerce copywriting/content role
  • Experience in an ecommerce environment with a good understanding of the customer journey.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage workload with changing priorities in a very fast paced environment.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to apply this to all copy.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply them.
