Job Description

Earlt Years LecturerGreater Manchester£28- 31 per hourStart date: ASAPJob description following cover posts from January 2nd until Easter if not until the end of the academic year

  • Wythenshawe campus teacher for 16-18 NCFE level 1 caring for children and tutorials for childcare and health and social care Monday - Wednesday 8:30 - 4:15
  • Openshaw campus Mondays, Thursday a.m and Fridays teaching 16 - 18 NCFE level 2 early years practitioner 8:30 - 4:15
  • Harpurhey teaching adults level 1 caring for children Tuesdays 8:30 - 4:15
Responsibilities of a Early Years and Health Lecturer:
  • Working in the Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the Colleges standards of work
  • Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
  • Teaching Health and Social care level 1
Requirements of a Early years and Health Lecturer:
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
  • Experience of delivering the subject.
  • A Early years or Heath and social care related Degree is desirable
  • Industry background is also desirable
  • A current DBS
