We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicatedDistribution Centre Manager to join our team on a full-time (Monday-Friday), permanent basis!Job DescriptionAs a Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading and engaging your people to deliver optimum business performance, as well as creating and implementing operational plans to meet current and future business strategy directly impactingyour Distribution Centre and the wider CL&W network.Responsibilities of a DCM include:

• Overall accountability for the site budget and P&L files and working in partnership to formulise
• Manage and report on the forecasted budget vs actual budget measured on labour utilisation based on forecast from customer
• Provide a rationalised update on revenue generated with +/- variances week on week (factual vs planned)
• Ensure compliance relative to site operating standards and/or improvements in annual audit process
• Plan and diarise customer/SLA review meetings over a 12 month period in agreement with customers
• Create and provide customer review packs to the customer prior to the review meetings
• Develop and deliver action plans and CI plans in line with customer expectation within reasonable operational jurisdiction
• Accountable for maintaining and improving audit scoring in line with ESL standards to ensure legal compliance
• Ensure monthly health & safety meetings are conducted at site level with HSQE & Campus GM involvement and attendance, quarterly
• Work towards an overall accident reduction of 5% year on year
• Responsible for managing the resource plan and remain in line with agreed resource strategy for your distribution centre
• Ensure that Team 5 briefings are conducted monthly with quarterly updates, with all communication displayed on notice boards

QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience at Operations Manager level or DCM level
• Warehouse Manager CPC and/or relevant industry training
• Dedication to deliver results and meet customer expectations
• An adaptive approach and respond positively to change
• Strong communication skills in order to present information effectively
• Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking, with a creative and innovative approach
