Job Description

Director of Sales Development - SaaS45K to 60K Basic / 10K+ OTE / Equity / BenefitsManchesterInteraction Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Directo of Sales Development to join a VC backed, fast-growing, $50m turnover software vendor, specialising in SaaS User Experience Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a niche Global leader with a unique suite of solutions that has attracted some very impressive clients in the Enterprise space. With 50% of the Fortune 500 as customers and brands such as Coca Cola, Facebook, Mercedes and Google all using their solutions.Responsibilities for the role of Director of Sales Development are to:

  • Lead a team of 8 Enterprise SDRs through effective mentoring and coaching
  • Implement and participate in onboarding and training to help ramp Enterprise SDRs
  • Ensure team sales goals are reached and exceeded
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leaders to execute on world-class inbound & outbound sales processes
  • Craft and drive effective hiring strategies to scale the team
  • Jump in as needed- supporting cold-calling, emailing, and networking while utilizing various information sources.
  • Guarantee goals for evaluations and first meetings on a monthly basis are met or exceeded by the team.
  • Social Media Monitoring: Engaging with social media platforms, creating alerts on keywords, researching topics and sharing information with individuals responsible for producing the content and responses.
  • Manage insights on overall prospecting progress via Salesforce and provide weekly reports to the broader management team.
  • To be considered for this Director of Sales Development role you must have:
  • A minimum 3-4 years experience leading a sales development/internal sales team for a technical product or SaaS company
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as an SDR (preferable)
  • An established track record in managing and mentoring a growing team of SDRs
  • Familiarity with SaaS and/or subscription-based business sales models
  • Commutable to the office in central Manchester
