Job Description

This position is for a Director of Finance and Operations in the Not For Profit sector, based in Manchester, who will be responsible for overseeing financial strategy, operations, and growth within the Accounting & Finance department.Client DetailsOur client is an organisation located in South Manchester. They are looking for a Director of Finance and Operations to join their established team. The role is focused on supporting and directing the Finance team alongside HR, IT and FacilitiesDescription

  • Oversee financial and operational strategy and planning.
  • Implement efficient procedures and processes within the Finance & Accounting department.
  • Ensure that financial and operational systems are compliant
  • Provide strategic leadership for financial growth and sustainability.
  • Maintain a high level of financial reporting and transparency.
  • Leading the Finance, HR, IT and Facilities teams
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop effective strategies.
  • Manage organisational risk and ensure robust financial controls.
ProfileA successful Director of Finance and Operations should have:
  • An Accounting Qualification
  • Worked within the Education Sector previously
  • Worked in a Finance role previously and have been involved in Operations such as HR, IT, Facilities management
  • Excellent financial and business acumen.
  • Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies.
