Job Description

A Northern based Building Consultancy have identified an opening for an experienced Director to take ownership of the Manchester space allowing them complete autonomy to grow this and make it their own with the view for equity.The Directors RoleThe successful Director will helm the Manchester office of this reputable Building Consultancy. They will be responsible for guiding a team of dedicated professionals, setting strategic direction, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. The roleinvolves:

  • Leadership: Spearheading team operations and setting clear objectives to ensure outstanding project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Mentorship: Actively supporting and mentoring staff, particularly those pursuing their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Business Development: Utilizing exceptional relationship-building skills to maintain existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities, ensuring sustained growth and market presence.
The DirectorTo be successful in this role, the Director will ideally possess:
  • Extensive experience in Building Consultancy, demonstrating a track record of successful leadership and team management.
  • Proven ability in mentorship, particularly supporting staff through their APC, showcasing a commitment to developing the next generation of professionals.
  • Strong business acumen with a flair for building and nurturing both existing and new client relationships.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, such as RICS membership (MRICS), are highly desirable.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to drive business growth while maintaining a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
