Job Description

Digital Trading SpecialistLocation | Workplace Policy: Hybrid working from Manchester officeSalary: Available upon requestWe are currently working with the number 1 retail Group that continues to defy industry standards, and without a doubt is reinventing the shopper experience both in-store & online.As a group, in a year where others have struggled and have announced losses and share crashes, they have recently announced a year-on-year increase in revenues by 45%, crazy!And with huge plans in place for their digital channels, a strategic decision has been made to build a new centralised digital team here in Manchester looking after their pureplay brands and have key hires to make.In short, there simply is no better time to join this leader! The role:Continually hungry to outdo themselves time and time again, theyre ready to take the next step in our journey and need a Digital Trading Specialist to oversee the management & delivery of eCommerce sales and trading/promotional strategies.Its a down-to-earth role that requires a keen eye for what achieves customer satisfaction, as youll be in charge of improving journeys and improving product merchandising and conversion rates.What youll be doing:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of websites (trading etc.)
  • Provide regular reports on trades that sufficiently delve into business drivers and how you intend to reach sales targets
  • Engage with the wider sales industry and watch seasonal sales patterns, with the aim being to analyse the competition and customer spending habits
  • Be aware of upcoming promotions as well as ensure end-to-end management of this activity.
  • Ensure online sales maintain and increase through improvements to site navigation and product placements
  • Collaborate on evergreen & seasonal content
  • Work with teams to solve issues that may impede sales
  • Set KPIs, targets that are achievable for all
  • Contribute to ideation sessions on eComm strategies
What skills do you need
  • Valid working rights for the EMEA countries
  • Excellent Google Analytics and Excel skills
  • Comfortable providing reports that have been proofread and are accurate
  • Skilled at working with eCommerce platforms
  • Up to 2 years experience in a similar eCommerce role
