Job Description

we are a leading online high service distributor of electronic, automation, tools and measurement technology in Europe. We operate worldwide and stock over 160,000 products, adding around 2,000 new & innovative products every month, from a linecard of more than 1,000 market leading manufacturers. We have local sales offices across Europe to support our customers and provide them with products and services to suit their individual needs.Position Summary

  • Responsible for the ownership of key Digital Trading KPI’s, producing detailed tactical and strategic plans to improve performance
  • Drive an Average Order Value (AOV) improvement through Digital Trading within key trading territories
  • Produce detailed performance forecasting for Monthly Business Review meetings and Quarterly forecasting processes
  • Lead cross-functional, agile based work streams focussed on core trading metrics, including AOV, Conversion & Basket abandonment rates.
  • Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the Digital KPI’s with primary focus on Average Order Value, Conversion & Basket Abandonment rates.
  • Lead cross-functional work streams based on Agile methodologies to drive commercial improvement across targeted and focused areas
  • Produce detailed analytical reporting and recommendations for commercial performance across the while digital estate
  • Produce detailed sales forecasting and budgeting by territory, clearly articulating risks and mitigation strategies
  • Work closely with the pricing team to manage online margin and average order value through effective pricing and promotional activities
  • Use data to work with cross-functional stakeholders to guide and influence future focus & commercial opportunities, including but not limited to: Multi-variant testing, SEO, Localisation, Product Opportunities and Website Development in line with target segment & business strategy
  • Understand and promote an understanding of market behaviours and demand opportunities, specifically focused on our target customer and understand their needs and requirements are exceeded
  • Produce weekly competitor activity reports for assigned Webstore territories.
  • EducationDegree or equivalent in a business related discipline, ideally with a digital/technology bias.Experience/Industry Knowledge
  • Demonstrable success in growing sales and profitability in a digitally biased business
  • Proven track record of delivering Commercial improvement, such as AOV & Conversion improvements
  • Thorough and Extensive knowledge of multi-channel marketing and online trading techniques
  • Commercially astute with a proven track record of growing online sales in a large multi-channel organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills and confident in presenting data-driven insights
  • Ability to work under pressure in a sales focused organisation.
  • An up-to-date understanding of eCommerce trends and the latest online sales tactics/best practice.
