Job Description

As a Digital Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the front-end of the companys web-based digital products.Client DetailsThis is an exciting time to join the company, as they are currently expanding their front end development team! With massive hands on projects in the works a great starting point for anyone who is passionate about front end development.DescriptionIn your first few weeks in this Digital Developer role, you can expect to:

  • Create responsive front-end code and work with back-end developers to integrate into digital Products
  • Work with the Digital Technical Manager and key suppliers to identify and define changes required to existing platform functionality, or the creation of new functionality
  • Design and document technical approaches for any changes or new features required
  • Produce detailed documentation of work packages required so that these can be shared with development teams, internal product managers and 3rd party suppliers.
ProfileTo apply for this Front End Developer role, you will need experience in front-end languages including Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and extensive knowledge of JavaScript (ES5 spec and up). You will also require experience with the following:
  • Integrating with REST APIs
  • Frontend tooling (Nodejs/npm, webpack)
  • An understanding of web accessibility
  • Agile project delivery tools and methodologies.Strong React Knowledge
