Job Description

Digital AnalystLocation | Workplace Policy: Hybrid working from Manchester officeSalary: Available upon requestWe are currently working with the number 1 retail Group that continues to defy industry standards, and without doubt is reinventing the shopper experience both in store & online.As a group, in a year where others have struggled and have announced losses and share crashes, they have recently announced a year-on-year increase in revenues by 45%, crazy!And with huge plans in place for their digital channels, a strategic decision has been made to build a new centralised digital team here in Manchester looking after their pureplay brands and have key hires to make.Are you driven by data analytics If so, we want to hear from you. Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Analyst to imbed themselves within a collaborative analytics team and help improve and optimise customer journeys through data-backed reports that combine insights with proven digital strategies.What will you be doing

  • Take immediate ownership for the creation of reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Google Data Studio
  • Evaluate user behaviour, conversion stats and a host of other data to create actionable insights that help achieve KPIs and targeted performance
  • Provide insights to help shape budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and correct any possible inaccurate data collections
  • Collaborate with UX and CRO squads when conductions A/B tests, with the aim being to improve user journeys and checkout funnels
  • Engage with a wide array of senior stakeholders and report on analytics findings
  • Establish yourself as the expert on Google tag management and Segment (Customer Data Platform) so that digital teams can come to you for advice on deploying tags with Google Tag Manager
What skills do you need to have
  • Valid working rights for the EMEA countries
  • +3 years experience in a similar analytical position within marketing, sales, management consulting or business ops backgrounds
  • Demonstrable skills in website analytics across eCommerce environments
  • Highly skills with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, SQL, R/Python, Microstrategy/Tableau or Mixpanel.
  • Familiar with marketing and CRM tools/jargon - SEO, Affiliates, Email, Paid Social etc.
  • Experience with Google Ads and Google Tag Manager
  • Comfortable creating BI reports
  • Skilled at managing and building strong rapports with existing stakeholders and accounts in order to facilitate trust
