The area is focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovativetechnical solutions for the government agencies most challenging problems. Our teams work alongside our clients to help them understand how to exploit technologies to maintain competitive advantage. Your future duties and responsibilitiesWorking from either our office or on customer site, we help our clients with some of their most complex IT challenges. Our DevOps Engineers have the opportunity to construct some of the most unique and exciting software solutions within the industry. You canexpect be involved in all stages of the project and system life-cycles. Required qualifications to be successful in this roleDesign, implement and maintain operations of secure cloud environments (development through to production ) using either AWS or Microsoft AzureAutomation skills (e.g. Infrastructure as Code) in order to provision and manage environments using technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation or ARMLinux and Windows OS experience, including scripting (e.g. Powershell and Bash).Strong knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliar with Agile approach and software engineering practices including Continuous Integration and DeliveryExperience in setting up and configuring CI / CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube)Experience in log collection technologies and monitoring platforms (e.g. ELK Stack or Splunk)Looks to build quality into the solution at every step with a focus for continually improvingWorking as part of an agile delivery team to realise business value for our customersSecurity Clearance: Must be UK national and either hold, or willing to gain higher level Security Cleared (SC).Working pattern: due to the secure nature of the work we are operating with a hybrid working policy. We would expect our members to be in their local office as and when required.
