Design Manager - Partition SystemsJob Title: Design Manager - Partition SystemsIndustry Sector: Design Manager, Technical Manager, Technical, Drylining, Plasterboards, Insulation, Fire Resistant, Partitioning Systems, Partition Systems, Partitions, Glass Partitions, Wall Partitions, Panelling systems, Acoustics, Architects, QuantitySurveyors, A&D, Specifiers, Main Contractors, Corporate End Users, Healthcare, Education and HospitalityLocation: North WestRemuneration: £40,000 - £60,000neg (DOE)Benefits: £500 car allowance & comprehensive benefit packagesThe role of the Design Manager - Partition Systems will involve:

  • Design manager position promoting a high quality manufactured range of partition systems
  • Managing the design process using commercial, contractual and technical expertise
  • Attending design meetings with architects, specifiers, main contractors and subcontractors
  • Advising clients on the their requirements in the development of a building design
  • Ensuring current legislation, standards and codes of practise are adhered to during the design process
  • Developing solutions and interfaces with other products
  • Will be required to support the sales team and Directors deal with technical enquires
  • Providing and developing site specific details as the project requires
  • Will be working alongside a dedicated sales team that bring in the business
  • Site visits when required
The ideal applicant will be a Design Manager - Partition Systems with:
  • Must have technical related product experience within the partitions sector: drylining, plasterboards, insulation, partition systems, panel wall systems, fire resistant panels, insulation, blockwork walls and acoustics
  • Must possess good knowledge of the building industry
  • Ideally will have CAD understanding
  • Ideally will have site experience
  • A good understanding of building legislation and controls
  • Must be a driven, enthusiastic and proactive individual
  • Consultative approach
