Database Specialist - ManchesterAn established Business Services provider based in South Manchester are currently looking for a Database Specialist with a focus on reporting to join the team. The business are currently undertaking a large digital transformation project, with a focus on delivering new technology to drive real time accurate information to deliver efficiency, improve decision making and increase organisational value. The Database Specialist will be part of the IT team, responsible for the availability and accuracy of all data within the business. Key responsibilities of the role will be the ongoing pro-active maintenance / monitoring of database / reporting / server related infrastructure, whilst also ensuring MI and DBs are backed up to the required level and sufficient regularity. The Database Specialist will also be involved in the design / implementation of new MI / DB infrastructure to support new business applications, whilst also providing wider support to the IT team with any MI reporting or database issues.The successful Database Specialist will have the following experience
