Job Description

Database Engineer - Manchester - GBP £40,000 - £60,000 DOEI am currently working with a fast-growing company in Manchester. My client is looking for an experienced Database Engineer to join their Team. The successful applicant should have the ability to take initiative and have excellent communication skills. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to join an ever-growing company.Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems
  • Working closely with 2nd and 3rd line support teams to solve database related issues
  • Working closely with web developers to provide bespoke solutions for clients
  • Developing custom database queries for reports and ETL routines
  • Installation and maintenance of RDBMS software
  • Troubleshooting database performance problems and applying corrective measures
  • Responding to customer requests for new database load routines, data exports and data integrity concerns
