Job Description

Title: Data Scientist Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE Location: Liverpool (Hybrid) We are seeking a highly motivated individual with expertise in Python, SQL, and Machine Learning to join their Data Science team. They are looking for someone who is keen to get stuck in and to progress within the company, as they have huge plans for thenext few years!They have cutting-edge technologies and a forward-thinking approach when it comes to Data Science, and they have an incredible office space designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and personal growth.Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Python, SQL, and Machine Learning techniques to analyse and interpret large and complex data sets.
  • Develop predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and design data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in data science methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning techniques and algorithms, such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate complex data insights.
  • Knowledge of financial services and familiarity with relevant industry datasets is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
